His Eminence Metropolitan Leontie paid a pastoral visit to the Convent of the Protection of the Mother of God in Sfiștofca, C.A. Rosetti Commune, Tulcea County, where he celebrated the divine services for the convent’s patronal feast — the Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God, 1/14 October.
His Eminence was joined in the divine services by a concelebrating assembly of priests and deacons. Lay faithful and parishioners who had travelled especially for the patronal feast of this small Old Rite Orthodox community also took part in the celebration.
